Well, the person asked how he was as "OC" and he was a play caller at times in 1983, but his title was QB coach.
As OC (from 95-98 when most people remember him), our offense was not a problem and was competitive. We had the 3 consecutive bowl wins following the Curley era and had our first win against a #1 team with the 28-21 UF win. No matter how many points we scored in 1998, Tepper's D gave up more. We scored a lot of points on offense in most of our losses that year.
