People were very optimistic going into this season.

Only people who didn't have a clue. Anyone who knew that we had no OL, no QB, no offensive game planning, no depth in the front 7 on defense and questionable special teams knew there was no way in hell this was a CFP contender.

The biggest question that everyone had was the quarterback position

No, that was what most of the dumbasses focused on, but one look at the team could have told them that this team had a LOT of problems. QB was only one of them, but just happened to be the most visible.

So why can't we just wait and see how it unfolds

Who has any other ideas? Is there another option?

support the team along the way without so much pissy bullshite?

Who's not supporting the team? You can know they aren't very good and still support them.

I really get the feeling that many people on this board will be unhappy if we win tomorrow.

That's because you're confusing what people want with what they think will happen. I can tell you with 100% certainty that we are going to elect a shitty, corrupt president in November. Do you think anybody actually WANTS that to happen?

Let the teacher help out...everybody's....the contraction for "everybody is"...on the more important matter...yes, I expect AU's best game to be put forward...but I don't think we have seen the best from Etling or LF yet...go Tigers, the LSU version...lol

So many things wrong with your post.

Biggest does not mean only. Stick to what was actually said.

There were some questions at OL, but with Pocic returning along with others, it was not our biggest concern. Depth on the defensive front was an issue, especially with injuries, but Valentine helped. Not too many "dumbasses" thought that we were solid at either, just that the quarterback issue was a bigger concern, which turned out to be correct.

People were hoping special teams would be better. Conventional wisdom was that it wouldn't be worse since average for Miles over the years suggested that special teams should be better than the terrible play last season, which it has.

OL is getting better. Defense is better. Special teams are better. QB is better. The playbook appears to be more open with more passing and less predictable cloud of dust runs over and over. So please explain to all of us dumbasses exactly are we missing except for the omniscient wisdom some on this board seem to have that Miles is incapable of winning no matter what you're seeing on the field each week.

I disagree on a couple of your points. On paper, the oline was solid......but a lot of us were guilty of ignoring MT and WC's injuries in August. It did affect the front end of the units performance.

The front 7 depth is another point I don't agree with. they've done well. What we didn't expect was Jackson and Tolliver missing a step on coverages and the secondary slowly adapting to Aranda. Adams has been a tad underwhelming but I expect him to rebound.
