Well sorry to hear you lost someone you do seem to care about. His dad was a pos and hopefully he gets what he deserves if he hasn't already.
All I can say is change starts with you. He had a shite start on life...and he chose to continue in that path. Not saying it's an easy thing to change and overcome, but you either follow suit or you break the fricking chain that binds you.

We beat his dad's arse down twice. Tried to help him. He was begging the cops to be removed from the situation but they wouldn't or couldn't do shite. Poor bastard never had a chance. I come from a good family and was always fed. We stole money just to feed him. Not proud of that but he was my brother in friendship.
