Sorry. A choice not to start off in a life of crime and theft. Kinda hard to learn new ways after that's all you know. But as an adult you can choose and change.

Well sorry to hear you lost someone you do seem to care about. His dad was a pos and hopefully he gets what he deserves if he hasn't already.
All I can say is change starts with you. He had a shite start on life...and he chose to continue in that path. Not saying it's an easy thing to change and overcome, but you either follow suit or you break the fricking chain that binds you.
