However, this morning when my wife woke up, her diaper had fallen off and she had an accident. My wife is furious and has had enough of the dog. She wants to get rid of the dog.

She's really that mad that the dog peed on the floor? Tell her to calm down.

Is this dog pissing when she sees you? Out of fear or excitement? Not saying you beat her, but if every time you see her she peed out of excitement, you get mad, she gets nervous and pees more. It's a vicious cycle.

Our big idiot is notorious for it. Anybody new comes to the house gets a speech about how to talk to her. The minute she hears excitement from a new voice? It's a golden shower for all involved. And she wags her tail in it slinging it everywhere.

Just have to start walking up to her emotionless. And take her outside. She pisses, then reward her. A high pitched "who's a good girl" first thing in the AM will get my knucklehead pissing and she is near perfect for pissing outside. It may never change.
