You have studies about Vegas? Let's not act like Vegas is the same as other major cities in the country. New Orleans is another one that defies the odds for big events

That is because every single study looks at all of the stadiums. Of course the #'s never match when you throw in public financing for outdoor football and baseball stadiums because of their limited scheduling abilities. Domed or retractable roof multipurpose stadiums make a lot more money because they can be used for so many other things in addition to football. Then when you add in the fact that it is a destination city so the tax bill is mostly being paid by tourists instead of residents it becomes a good deal.
