I've been to a few of these churches and you are dead on!! Not really mega churches though I do enjoy going and hearing "the message".
I usually show up about 15-20 min late after all the music and whatnot, then leave right after "the message".
I've given them a few dollars over the years, I dont mind being charitable...I dont think they are all money hungry theives....
