No I don't think it has to be perfect. I think that 2nd ball to Dupre that everyone harps on was a good defensive play but even if I concede it was a drop, it was still a poor throw.
The pass to Jeter to start was a great throw, a nice defensive play, and it wasn't a drop. The Jeter pass was catchable, but not a drop. The first Malachi pass was assuredly a drop. The pass to Dupre after the INT may have been a drop and it was catchable. That's 3. Calling the ball to Guice a catchable ball is a stretch IMO.
Like many other offenses, the QB could help the WRs out sometimes and the WRs should bail out the QB sometimes. I look forward to a little more of both in the immediate future.
