re: 4-4-2 Diamond numbering system/numbering systems in general

7 and 11 are your wing players. This system you have has one or the other playing higher on the field. I was never a huge fan of this system unless your players are very interchangeable. Your outside backs need to be able to play high up the field in the attack and recover quickly.
