He was bigger, faster, braver than BH and he had a really good arm. He was always at the top of the list at the Manning camp.

BUT.. he was always stuck in the 2-receiver system, he NEVER had a dedicated QB coach. On 1-9 he was asked to win the game pretty much on his own...only about 7 plays were called to throw the ball downfield (which he did fairly effectively).

One of the laughable things I read from the ranters who think JL was the answer is this... Lee's career record against Alabama was 1-TD, 8-INTs. He would have been slaughtered under the Alabama rush.
