The offensive philosophy has changed Why do people keep saying that. Did you think we were gonna go from pro style to a spread wide open offense? If so youre a dumbass. We threw the ball 28 times game 1. That's a change.
No it isn't.
It is not the number of pass attempts. It is the play calls, play selection, running rudimentary pass plays that rarely feature more than 2 WRs.
It is the lack of creativity and the lack of any attempt to exploit mismatches. Most of the pass plays are no more complicated than play action deep post and hope the WR can make a play.
That is not how to run an effective passing game in 2016. I see more complicated passing systems in junior high games.

Wrong. They were running plays to try and get Brandon going. He can't conplete a hitch. What pass play do you recommend the coach call when the QB can't throw a 3 yd hitch. We did change up the play calling we attempted 28 passes and we're doing horrible. If Brandon would've conpleted more passes and strung more series together we would've ended up near 40 pass attempts. Now if that's not a change in philosophy from last year I don't know what it. The play c Alli g was spot on. You have o have players that can execute and etling showed us what that looks like for the limited time he was in and his receivers were catching the ball. Execution is key. I can draw up the perfect play everytime but if the receiver doesn't do his job or the qb doesn't do his or the center botches his assignment everything crumbles.
