re: How many people here expected the Saints to win today?

I went into this game expecting a loss, for two big reasons:
1. I expected our offensive line to shite the bed.
2. I expected our defense to shite the bed.
I was very pleasantly surprised that or offensive line somehow managed to cobble together a decent game. I'd be interested to see the pff stats for this one.
But the defense is what it is. It's the same thing every year for the saints: offense is good to great, defense is atrocious and ends up losing games more often than not, because we can't stop anybody.
So anyone expecting a win today, I can understand that pov, but realistically this team is .500 at best, simply because of the lack of defense. Breaux with a broken fibula just puts the nail in the coffin for that side of the ball imo.
We'll just have to be on the right side of a shootout all year. At least it's good for my fantasy team.
