CLM was proved wrong by DE's play in the 2nd quarter

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell this means. Someone want to explain it to me?

Maybe he is new to the game and is looking at the game statistics.

He notices in the first quarter that we had two possessions and no score, not even a first down.

Then he looked at the second quarter stats. and noticed that we changed quarterbacks and had three successive drives for touchdowns.

Then he remembers Les' report that during the spring, Harris had matured into a credible quarterback. The offence had been tweaked to take advantage of Harris' talent and we were going to run plays that Harris was most comfortable running.

Then he wonders why after the first game exhibition of ineptness, is it the quarterback or the coach. Hmmm?

Maybe Les was just confused at half time and was wondering who he could blame it on. By the Post Game Press Conference he figured it out and blamed it on Etling. Etling was making mistakes by throwing the the ball too long rather than getting sacked and punting it away.

Does that help you?
