I think the $8 mill figure is a little skewed. Somebody did a master's thesis years ago looking at the economic stimulus for Baton Rouge in day vs night games and quality of opponent.

It is a staggering difference but don't recall the actual numbers off hand

I feel bad the players might see it as not supporting them when that is clearly not the case. I believe most fans have been showing up solely as a show of support for the players, but the coach and admins see full stadium for them.

I'm a student. When I left campus around 3 pm today, there were pretty much no RVs in sight and almost no early tailgaters in the Nicholson lot where most student commuters like me park.

In my 3 years at LSU, this is BY FAR the least amount of traffic I've seen the day before a home game, any home game. Campus had barely any traffic today. Even games against FCS opponents usually draw way more RVs on Friday.

I'll be surprised if there's 80K in the stands tomorrow. Excitement for this team is pretty nonexistent after Saturday's embarrassing performance. LSU losing lots of money is the only way we can voice our desire for change, unfortunately. Money talks.
