Illinois is far from whispery emo shite and is one of the best albums of the past 10ish years. Such a fun, interesting and creative album Honestly, the only music he's released like you're describing is his most recent project. I can definitely see how it's tough to listen to

Yeah I was pretty much only talking about C & L. And for the record I respect him a lot, it's just not something I want to put on one of my productivity playlists.
