Dale Brown built this program from nothing. He was a great salesman, recruiter, and motivator. Everyone wants to remember the 89-91 teams for underachieving but no one wants to give credit to his teams in the 80's that overachieved.

Les inherited a growing powerhouse near its peak and held serve for a few years, but now in steady decline.

Are you fricking kidding me???? You must not remember the 4-corner stall, I know I do!!!

As much as I hate Bobby Knight he stated it best when he was down by 8 pts with a minute and a half left in the game "I was worried about losing until I looked down the floor and saw Dale Brown. Then I knew we had a chance"

Don't get me wrong I love Dale Brown and we have not had a basketball coach anywhere near him since he left but offensive guru or anything offense related he definitely was not.

That team with Ethan Martin was fricking awesome.

Hi C had the prettiest jumper ever.

How could Dale not win with Muhammed Said Jackson, Shaq, and Stanley Roberts?

Dale was good, but not nearly as good as Les has been. Both stayed too long.

No, Dale Brown had the best talent in the nation, in 79-80, & 80-81 & the best he could do was a Final Four Appearance
