Nighthawk AC1900 Router and PS4 (or X-Box One)

Does anyone use this router for their PS4. I have an old D-Link DIR-655 and am ready to make the upgrade. I have seen some recommendations from websites, so I am just looking for some verification from fellow TD gamers.

I have tried, but the router crashes. I have a PS3 upstairs, and a lot of usage from kids streaming videos. I think the old one is just getting overloaded.

Router is a piece of shite. Bought two, and both kept dropping signal every 15 minutes. Price =/= quality.

I switched from a Netgear N600 router to the Nighthawk AC3200 within the last year and it made a huge difference for me.
I think the two things that made the biggest difference were:
1. (not specific to a new router) Use an app on your phone like Wifi Analyzer and find out what channels the people around you have their wifi set to and manually set yours to one that is less congested. You'd be surprised at how big of a difference it can make.
2. I have a lot of newer devices that connect to 5ghz wifi and so the dual 5ghz bands on the ac3200 really carry the load a lot better than my old router with only one 5gz band.

The best router for gaming is the Netduma.

I just bought an ASUS Router that ran me $150 by the recommendation of my brother, who works network security for a living. He said the Netgear was shite in comparison. I think I bought the ASUS 1750, it was like night and day compared to my old linksys.
