None of us wanted Steele. Our HC has no connections in CFB so we got stuck with him. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about out hick moron AD paying a buyout to hire Steele.

It's his confidence.

1) Since, day one its been him or Jennings. I think he feels rather confident, but once again we have Danny Etling, which is good, on his heels. Competition is good, but hanging that over their head after they have the starting job is difficult.

2) Probably the most important issue is the fact that he has not been allowed to run the read option like Deshaun Watson did at Clemson, not fully. He has always been held back. Most the play calling. Not near enough balance.

Just my humble opinion.
