They used the Aeros as a positive for Houston. Apparently, they had really good attendance. The reason they moved was the lease agreement with the Toyota center

Jesus there is s bunch of ignorance in this thread.


The only person that can bring a team in is Les Alexander. And he has said recently it ain't happening. Too many expansion cities in line (KC, Seattle, QC, etc.) and now that Phoenix, Edmonton are getting new arenas, I don't see anyone relocating anytime soon.


Also there was a frick ton of support for the aeros. I went to plenty of games the last two seasons that sold out. Les just priced the team out of the city

Yep. Attendance was up in the final three years before they left.
