This is probably a good move based on the "$65K for a Hyundai?!?" replies in here.
If they keep producing quality luxury cars, they will shake off the Hyundai stigma.
Plus, most people looking to buy a $50K sedan feel slighted by some "non luxury brand" even if the non luxury sedan is nicer than some of the luxury brand sedans in the same price range. This will help capture that portion of the market after a few years.
