Fugazi. Actually, I think that's Ian MacKaye's fifth band, after Minor Threat, Egg Hunt, Teen Idles, and Embrace. But clearly, Minor Threat was the big one. Guy Picciotto invented the genre of emo with Rites of Spring (much to his regret) along with Brendan Canty before forming Fugazi with MacKaye. Pretty good legacy.
