At the end of Job, which occurs over a 4 month period, God restored him fourfold.
At the beginning, my relationship to God got stronger. After it continually got worse, and things just kept happening, it definitely got worse. Attended mass consistently. Quit going. Stopped praying. I stopped caring essentially. Generally, before much of this happened, I would share my faith with people who brought it up. That no longer happens. As a matter of fact, I see their side on suffering and a "loving God".
I read Job several times. I actually had someone tell me to read Job before much of this shite started happening. It was eery that in the following months, things got much worse.
