I'm looking to do one soon. I'm going to buy the universal jig kit from 80 percent arms probably at the end of this month. It's been something I've wanted to do for a while. If anything it would be a fun project to tackle.

I did one last year. You have mill the receiver out after the holes are drilled. Take you time! If you have the correct tools it should be easy. All I had was a drill press and vise. Good luck!!

I got a few 80% lowers from Anderson for about $50\each. I got one for each one of my kiddos, so we could work on them together. Just for a fun project. I took my time and finished the first one in a couple of hours with a drill press and a router, using the 80% arms easy jig. It came out pretty nice. As long as the fire control group fits ok, then it should function just fine. I plan on electro-etching some custom engravings. I found a place in Florida that said they would anodize for me. If that doesn't work out, I'll just coat them myself. I'm doing it less for the 'ghost gun' aspect and more for the teaching moments with my kids.
