Why would the oil light come on if you sucked up some weeds. As long as the 2 stroke engine is getting gas it's getting oil. My sea doo and waverunner have sucked many a weed and the oil light has never come on. You can over heat the water cooled engine or exhaust if the grate is clogged. Please advise

There's only one light on a gti as far as I know. And if i remember correctly it's next to the oil symbol on the gas gauge. So yes it comes on, even when you over heat or get sea weed jammed up in there
