The body of my Eastwood is based on the Mosrite Ventures Mark XII Model 12 String, a guitar from the mid-1960's. The technology of course has been updated.
I bought mine because I wanted an electric 12-string, but I didn't want to go the Rickenbacker route (another guy in my band already has one).
I also got $100 off because it's a B-stock, with a scratch that I have been unable to find.
I played it with my band for the first time today at our practice, and we were all drawn to it by the different sound it produces compared to a Rick-12. A bit more rockin', a bit less chiming than a Rick.
