Draft Strategy
Depending on your league format, I tend to form a strategy around the perceived weaknesses of the league that year. For example, this season, there are enough QBs that I would feel comfortable rolling with that I will probably not pick one early. The only QB i wont get is Romo because he'll break sleeping one night.
So if the WR's are looking good I normally try to get a stud WR and then stud RB in the first 2 rounds. If the league looks like several teams by RBC, then I'll probably roll with a few RB's early and play the WW in the season. I've had a couple of years where I only got a pair of WR's or RB's and then the WW was scarce all year. So, I try to look at the number of playable players by position. My 02.
ETA: I also try to project which players will be available by round going off of well known cheat sheets. I can normally get it pretty close for the first 4 rounds, and that reduces draft day guessing.
