Seriously?
Name a good "Single" IPA from Louisiana.

Now, name another good "Single" IPA, come on man, do I seriously need to do this?
Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, Founders All day, Lagunitas, Jai Alai

In my personal opinion of tastes, I'd take Opus over single IPAs of those other brands you named except for the Jai Alai. That's probably 3 or 4th in my personal favorites.

Opus was supposed to fill in the IPA category to compete with the 7% and unders, Julius

Now I've never tried Julius, but if it really is what the beer nerds say it is, then that's like saying Andrew Luck is a bust as a QB and not legit because he's not Tom Brady.

What the hell kind of logic is that??

Parish could just "settle" for "good enough" like so many other local breweries. I, for one, fully support experimentation in an attempt to make a brew as good as possible.
