decent 2 row SUV anymore
I live in mountains so I need functionality you maybe don't.
Kia Sorrento is a two row SUV with mountain/snow driving package at the push of a button that was advertised in a Super Bowl ad with a James Bond type driving in snow and mountains to see his lover at her mountain top chalet.
At the end the actor asks for one of the cars.
Depends on what you need. Its not huge for an SUV. 39 inches headroom in the front drivers seat. I have never had one thing go wrong.
I am just under 35K miles at the moment.
There is a hill just 1/2 mile from me that requires chains or 4 wheel drive in winter. It has 4 wheel drive.
We have a very small boat. Taking it to the lake in a while. Its less than 2 miles to the lake.

No matter which 2016 Kia Sorento you drive, you’ll have a towing capacity of 2,000 pounds, but if you upgrade from the 2.4L four-cylinder to the 2.0L turbocharged or 3.3L V6 engine, you’ll notice a significant boost in towing capacity. Both Turbocharged and V6-equipped Sorentos are able to tow as much as 3,500 pounds. And these specs are just for FWD models. Opt for all-wheel drive on trim equipped with the V6, and you’ll see that towing capacity jump up to 5,000 pounds.
Kia also makes a handful of useful accessories for drivers looking to tow with their Sorento, including:
Tow Hitch: This custom-designed tow hitch is mounted directly onto the frame for optimal towing and offers the durability and security you need when hauling a heavy load behind your crossover SUV.
Tow Hitch Chrome Cover: When your tow hitch isn’t in use, this Kia chrome cover gives your Sorento a bit of added flair.
Tow Hitch Bike Attachment: If yours is a family of bikers, the tow hitch bike attachment gives you an easy place to load up your bikes. Carrying 2-4 bikes on the rear of your Sorento, this attachment is more convenient than roof rack options.
If you find that you need more cargo capacity, Kia does have a wide range of roof rack mounts that can be used to store skis, snowboards, or even just a cargo box that you can fill with anything you need on your travels.
I have the roof rack too.

from 2010 on its technically a CUV based on the Hyundai Sonata platform.
not that has much to do w/what yours can actually accomplish.
its just not a true SUV.
