You have the right idea. The offensive scheme is built around a dominating defense. However, if the defense is anything but dominant, the offense is typically unable to pick up the slack. We can't generate a passing game, we have issues playing from behind, we are too predictable, and special teams has become a major issue. While you are correct that the offense is designed with a dominant defense in mind, the overall ineptness of the offense, especially the passing game, is inexcusable. Our saving grace has been #7.
