What is cool is that 126 mph is so close to 2x the mile to kilometer conversion (1/.63) that you could round it off to 200 kph and be accurate to 99%!

My assumption is that the chase didn't reach 126mph but the cop that was 3 miles away when the call came in hit 126 to catch up to a 12 year old going 80.
