Seems like there's always one kid in each grade that repeats kindergarten. The parents think it's best because their child isn't ready but it's a killer because that kid gets bagged on for the rest of his school life.

Looks like an OTer got held back in kindergarten. That's not really a surprise.

Definitely not repeat K. Would send to private school K or Pre-K for the school year starting when they are 4 years old (turning 5 in late September just before cutoff) and start them in public K for the school year when the child is 5.
