I'm a young LEO in Florida, really just wanted to see what the board's consensus was.

I'm not sure about your hometowns but for every speeding ticket we write at my agency we get close to $0.23 from the fine. I have made close to 150 traffic stops and have actually written 12 tickets. Not big on tickets because I don't enjoy taking money out of people's pockets that could be used to pay bills. I get the undereducated thing because a lot of the old school guys don't have higher education and have only known law enforcement but I'm seeing most of the younger guys in our agency have undergrad degrees or are working on it or their graduate degrees.

I know I'm biased towards law enforcement obviously and was interested in everyone's opinion.

I completely understand some people not liking law enforcement because I have worked with some bad apples who have most certainly left a bad impression of law enforcement on citizens.

Honest question, when you see a biker wearing a three piece patch, how do you approach any interaction with them?
