Josh Anthony is a juco kid who was drafted by the braves in 16th round in last week's MLB draft. He was originally going to sign with Auburn and turn the braves down but yesterday he changed his mind and said was going to sign with the braves telling people they increased the offer. Today they withdrew the offer citing miscalculations of the budget. Now he plans to play at Auburn. Has anyone ever seen a MLB team withdraw a offer?

Well yea we all have. The Astros did it with Brady Aiken just a few years ago. It was national news.
The Astros did offer something, but I'm sure the Braves did ax well.

This is actually really common with picks after the first 5 or so rounds

Astros fricking up with Brady Aiken a couple years ago, cost them Nix and Marshall.
