It's a fact that does matter. Why didn't the OP say "after XX years of playing in the NBA?" Because Jordan wins every one of those debates.

The people on both side of this argument try too hard. LBJ is a top 5 player all time and the best player in the last 20 years.

Using seasons played makes absolutely no sense. Age is the numbrr 1 issue that drives retirement and the end of a career. So using that as a checkpoint makes the most sense. Also, using LeBrons seasons at the age of 18-20 against him is nonsense. Those years are development years just like MJs college years were.
