It's not about whether or not they can handle it. Why fix what isn't broken? Women are an inefficient source of labor for the military. They cost more money to train and house. Their presence causes disciplinary and morale issues. Why spend money and risk all the problems that come along with it just to be "fair" to a small minority of women?

There's a bigger picture. With rights comes responsibilities. In terms of money, the matter isn't night and day.
