And the worst case scenario if we send him is probably that he gets in a rundown at home, Fraley winds up at 3rd anyway, Robertson stays at first, and Deichmann still gets to bat.

Why would you think they would pitch to deichman if the runner had broke from 3rd? Either way you have an open base and walk deichman
