I promise you that his contract will "be right." I suspect that he left Arizona, Atlanta, and a few other teams without a deal because they didn't think that he'd be a big time contributor worth making the team over young potential. NOT because he was asking for too much money. If that's the case, that might lower your expectations of him. Thing is, teams thought the same thing last season and he TORE shite UP in limited playing time. He's obviously a stopgap, but I think 2016, 37 year old Freeney is still probably better than what we would have gotten out of Kikaha. Old arse quarterbacks are changing perceptions. Interior DL and OL have been lasting forever as of late. I don't see why a 37 year old, future HoF DE couldn't join the club.
