The only time for me is when a herd of deer was crossing the road and I came almost to a complete stop to let them clear. As I was passing them a yearling rammed the passenger door of my pickup. I stopped and the deer was motionless, so I loaded it in the bed and went on the house. During the ride the deer had come to, and was thrashing around in the bed, kicking a hole through the side of an ice chest. When I opened the tailgate it bailed out and tried to run through the yard with a broken shoulder. After a .22 shot to the head I strung it up and had June backstrap.
