As a young fella, Divorce Corp(doc on Netflix) scared the shite out of me. Pick the wrong woman and you could be living in the poor house as a middle aged man.

Should be a required watch for all men. It's an incredible documentary.
Adding to that, OP, don't have a child with someone you love without some documentation of how it will be if shite goes south. Truthfully, a jaded mom without divorce papers could mean you rarely see the squid.
