You're confusing the issue. No one has suggested the woman was correct, nor did we argue if the man's actions were justifiable from a legal standpoint. I look at it similar to how I would an officer using deadly force - just because you can doesn't mean you should. In the situation in the OP, there is really no excuse for the guys actions. No decent man would do that.
