Oh I would definitely agree that there is risk involved with Battlefield 1. But I agree with Jim that company executives have been really, really stupid lately when it comes to judging what consumers actually want.
I highly doubt it will be anything close to historical, and honestly I hope it isnt. I still hold out hope for alternate history bits and pieces in this game.

They are scared of risks but that is what you get with big money companies. EA has actually been better as of late. 5 years ago they would never make another Mirror's Edge.
