I remember in the 1960's and 1970's as a kid you couldn't wait to go fishing with the old man. They don't have the memory of getting the ice block on Friday afternoon to put in the cooler, loading up with friends in the station wagon, going to get a glass bottle of Coca Cola from the bait store on airline hwy that was a treat, and heading out to fish old River or the spillway. It didn't matter what we caught we just had fun hanging around with our fathers.
