Big issues with shooting, handles, and decision-making skills. Could develop to be great, but much higher likelihood of being a decent defender with a below average shot and average handle. His whole college game was based on barreling to the basket, but his left hand was exposed to end the year and his outside shooting was always poor. Bad TO rate (18%) and 3PT % (29%). On top of that his steals rate is not good. considering his length and athleticism and block rate nothing to write home about: 1.2 stls and 0.9 blks per 100.
Good kid and maybe a great player as he certainly has all the physical tools, but more likely to be considered a bust unless he gets on with a good program who can develop him properly. Not entirely sure that he fits what the Pelicans need.
