You can't retroactively upgrade a tornado like that. We have reliable scientific data on tornados for 50 or 60 years and there has been nothing warranting an F6. I have a hard time believing any tornados in the years previous were stronger.
At least it is settled now that something that has failed to repeat itself in the last 50 years is not possible.
The monumental stupidity of this post is staggering.

Did you read my post?
I set aside an anomaly with regard to the Tri State tornado because that is the only tornado that doesn't fit a template as far as speed and track that we have seen since we have had measurables.
The Natchez tornado was probably an F5 wedge.
No reason to call me stupid.

regardless, crazy the 2nd deadliest tornado started in Louisiana and followed up the river. (May be the most had they counted lost slave lives.)
If that happened now, especially at night, that would be terrifying.

Highly doubt the winds were anywhere NEAR the claims. They no way to really know. So this is a classic case of cousin tommy live through that last Nader and it was well over 150 mph. And he told me this one was TWICE as strong as that one. Tommy ( by now a town celeb) is declared the judge of all things winds with his miraculous good eye.

Would not dream of calling you stupid, that post fits the mold however.
It is pretty arrogant to think we have a clear view of climate history from the small window seen in modern history.
