Wtf you get outta that article besides him clearly admitting he wants the fight. He dropped the title so his balls and prep won't be in a vise. Am I missing something.

Disclaimer. I watch little boxing.

Yeah I agree with this. He doesn't appear to be dodging the fight, just that he want's it to happen organically instead of a bunch of suits dictating to him and GGG when the fight has to happen by.

Canelo was holding THE middleweight championship of the world yet refused to fight at the actual limit of 160. Golovkin was his MANDATORY in the WBC, the sanctioning body which Canelo holds the belt for. The WBC allowed Canelo to by-pass the fight this spring/summer but made it mandatory for him to fight his #1 challenger in the late summer or fall. The fact that Canelo dropped the belt ASAP tells fans all they need to know. Canelo was the A-side and could have probably gotten everything he wanted in negotiations except the 155 weight limit.

Canelo is a giant PUSS and it was proven yesterday. He actually called GGG's people in the ring after the Khan fight, told them to feel his nuts, went on and on about how he was ready for the fight.....then he said no thanks, dropped the belt and went hide in the closet under all of De La Hoya's fishnet stockings.
