Ill say this much about it. The added negative exposure ruins the trust issue needed for a smooth encounter. 10 years ago it was expected that certain people automatically thought a cop was dirty or out to get them. Now you have middle and upper class housewives you've never met before, suspicious of everything you do because Whoopie on The View told her to be. Cops are constantly told not to treat every person like a criminal but now people are told to assume every cop is a criminal. That's ok though. I'll continue to prove to people I come into contact with that we aren't all out to take their money or shoot their dog.

... or they have previous experience of being mistreated by law enforcement. I'm not saying all cops are bad but I don't feel bad for them. They are being held accountable now. If they do their jobs right they have nothing to worry about.
