Honestly, why shouldn't it be? It is an event you are buying, particularly concessions. If you bought it on premium cable TV you'd be paying taxes on it. I know you pay sales tax on shirts and gear sold in the stadium. I'd be surprised if concessions didn't already have tax built in.

Most stadiums didn't... so i hope everyone who voted for him keep their mouths shut when concession, parking, etc. prices go up

So now the IRS is going to potentially investigate the taxes paid by volunteer organizations like you local playground booster club?

IF this law has that kind of reach, that is dumb.

The bottom line is that governments need to understand that making more is not always the best way to proceed. Sometimes spending less is a better way.
