You think Lynch is very intelligent? He thought the Bills played in NYC.

Joshua Perry - OSU
STRENGTHS: Only knows one speed with a nonstop motor which helps him make plays other linebackers cannot. Quick first step and long legs to cover a lot of ground in a little time. Plays smooth, not stiff, and easily opens his hips to redirect in coverage. Mature leader. Instinctive in man or zone coverage and comfortable with his back to the ball. Fills hard vs. the run and arrives with violence. Excellent timing and closing speed.
IN OUR VIEW: He is wired right for the pro game with the work habits and mental make-up that will quickly make him a favorite in an NFL building. Although not elite in any one area on the field, Perry is very well-rounded with the scheme-diverse skill-set and coverage skills that will make him a fit for all 32 defenses.

So.
street smart vs book smart, science major vs math major...just because you do not know something that seems basic to someone else does not mean you are incapable of learning or inferior in thought capacity to someone else.
I didn't say he was a genius.
