Mental health cost money. Budgets get cut and crazy people are on the streets. The violent ones become police issues. As a result they are overburdened. To relieve that they need more money. Where exactly are the savings?

Just a thought. There is a concept of maternal deprivation. Withholding affection from an infant, that can lead to significant issues. People are joking about social media, but it seems like we interact less and less in any meaningful way (TD is very meaningful), so is it possible people feel completely neglected which causes the wires in the brain to become crossed and fricked up?

Suicide wasn't a thought when I was a teen. There was "I'm going to run away" when mom and dad got mad, but ending my life never occurred to me.

We shun mental illness, but there should be compassion and understanding. People endure some awful shite.
