Pap has been so bad that when he comes up he's like an automatic out.

I hope he turns it around. I would prefer a guy like Romero who has the ability to put the ball over the fence vs live pitching.. even if they both hit for low average I prefer the guy who produces more RBI's.. but Romero actually hits for high average so he's even more beneficial. He's at least not the easy out like Pap is at this point.

I believe CPM just really values Pap's defense and there may be something about not playing Romero every day from a leg/knee concern? Again though, I admit I have no idea and am just grasping. I know Romero had some surgery down there and at one point wasn't sure he'd ever play competitive baseball again.
